The BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management will build on your existing management skills, knowledge, and assist in boosting your career prospects and create an approach to high level management roles with greater knowledge.

The program is targeted to students who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters. They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

We provide relevant advice and learning direction

A pre-training review to assess course suitability and entry level for each individual will be conducted. This may result in a recommended learning pathway to help you meet course specific requirements and any other prerequisites.

We offer guidancand support

• Our courses are structured with due dates and a realistic number of assessments to assist you to complete the course requirements with ease.
• On campus learning provides students with face to face contact and offers the opportunity to study in an inclusive and supportive environment.

We see you through to completion

We support you with resources that will enrich your learning experience and support successful completion of the course which may include:
• Mentoring from trainers.
• Additional classes, tutorials and workshops.
• Computer and technology support from the trainer if necessary.
• Referral to external support services.

Yorke will provide additional support for any students experiencing:

• Disability and access issues;
• Language barriers;
• Language, literacy and numeracy issues;
• Employment issues; and/or
• Any other issues that may affect their ability to achieve their training goals.

Additional support services to students will be provided where it is necessary to enable students to participate in the same way as any other person regardless of whether support services have been required.
Where there is perceived difficulty in achieving learning goals, the trainer will discuss these issues with the student. The student will be provided with information about possible alternative pathways, additional tools and resources available, and options and choices for accessing a supportive network. The information provided will vary depending on the individual needs of the student.

Course Description

Delivery Sites Level 3, 335 Flinders Lane Melbourne VIC 3000
Duration of program 79 weeks (67 tuition weeks and up to 12 weeks of holidays)
Learning and assessment 79 weeks (67 tuition weeks and up to 12 weeks of holidays) is broken into time for training, learning and assessment activities. This includes:

  • Homework of approximately 11 hours per week
  • Classes are approximately 10 hours for the first week and 20 hours per week x 66 weeks
Entry Requirement Yorke requires the following evidence for admission into this program

  • 18 years old and above
  • Year 12 or equivalent
  • Pre-Training review with Proficiency level of Language Literacy and Numeracy which is assessed by Yorke.
  • At least three years of experience in a senior role OR have a diploma level qualification in Business, Marketing or Leadership and Management

Delivery Mode This course will be delivered face-to-face in a classroom-based setting

Intakes

Yorke is not enrolling students in this course under the funded program. We encourage students who wish to pursue this course to discuss with one of our admission staff . Payment payment plan options are available for students who may not be eligible for funding but have evidence of Australian citizenship/Permanent Residency

The BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Management will build on your existing management skills, knowledge, and assist in boosting your career prospects and create an approach to high level management roles with greater knowledge.

This course is targeted at international students who are working on starting their own business or taking over the management of an existing business and wish to develop specialised skills at an advanced diploma level. Students will have prior experience working in a senior administrative role or have a diploma level qualification in Business, Marketing or Leadership and Management. Students may be prior graduates of the Diploma of Leadership and Management from Yorke Institute.

The program is targeted to students who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
