About Yorke Institute
Yorke Institute was established in 2007 as a Registered Training Provider and meets administrative, delivery, staffing, facility, marketing, financial, quality assurance and assessment standards as agreed by Federal State and Territory Governments in Australia.
The State Government registering authority monitors and subjects us to regular external audits to verify adherence to these standards.

Courses
Our courses are nationally recognised to industry standards to enable students to achieve academic excellence, develop self confidence and leadership skills when they enter the industry as professionals.
We are registered with the Victoria Registration Qualification Authority ( VRQA ) and the Commonwealth Register for Institute and Course for Overseas Students (No.02893G). We are also a member of the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) which is the national industry association for independent providers of post-compulsory education and training, for Australian and international students.
Yorke's Professional Membership
Yorke Institute is the only private VET provider that is a member of the prestigious international organisation known as the Les Toques Blanches. It is also an active member of the Australian Culinary Federation and Restaurant and Catering Victoria. Yorke Institute is conveniently located just off popular Victoria Street, next to Richmond train Station and 2 minutes walk from the trams stop.

Please be aware that International students unfortunately are not eligible for concession on public transport in the state of Victoria.

Yorke on Regent Café
The Yorke on Regent Café’ is the new exciting addition to Yorke’s facilities. Open to the public, it provides some training on the job for our students to gather a real taste of the hospitality industry and enhance their chances to successfully apply for jobs in this field.

Operating Hours
Yorke Institute has full Council approval to operate between 9.00 am and 9.00 pm, Monday to Friday and 8.30am – 6.00pm Saturday & Sunday.
